Superintendent Search
At a special meeting on July 19, 2006, the Board of Education approved the recruitment portion of hiring an interim Superintendent for the Wisconsin Rapids Public School District.
The decision is based on the perceived unavailability of qualified candidates due to current contract commitments with other districts for the 2006-2007 school year. At this time, the Board is seeking potential candidates from a variety of sources for an interim Superintendent position of up to one year. Responses are due back to the Board by July 31, 2006 with the Board meeting on August 2, 2006 to review prospective candidates. The entire Board of Education will be acting as the selection committee.
