Recently, the Board of Education held ten meetings to hear over 250 participants on budgeting ideas for the 2004-2005 school year. The data from those meetings is reported here. Table groups surfaced ideas related to revenue ideas, reduction ideas, or program/staff elimination ideas.
The “Frequency” column indicates how many table groups surfaced the idea. Once the ideas surfaced, participants had an opportunity to select the best ideas. The total of those votes is listed in the “Weights” column.
Finally, participants could pick one single idea that the participants felt should receive the highest priority by the Board. Those ideas are in the “Top Priority” column.
